Accessibility Statement

Last updated

TRENDY SUM LTD EOOD is committed to making trendysum.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities and people who rely on assistive technology.

The standard we follow

The website is built to conform to WCAG 2.2, Level AA — the standard referenced by:

  • EN 301 549 and Directive (EU) 2016/2102 in the European Union;
  • the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882);
  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and ADA guidance in the United States.

Level AA is also the level we recommend for the systems we build for clients.

What we have done

  • Contrast. Every text and background pair has been checked: at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface elements — in both themes.
  • Light and dark themes. The site follows your system setting and lets you choose explicitly; the choice is remembered between visits.
  • Keyboard. Every link, button and field can be reached and operated with the keyboard alone, in a logical order, with a clearly visible focus indicator. A "Skip to main content" link starts each page.
  • Target size. Interface buttons and links have a target area of at least 24×24 pixels, usually larger.
  • Semantic markup. Headings follow a hierarchy, regions are landmarked (header, nav, main, footer), the page language is declared, and the language switch identifies the language it leads to.
  • Forms. Every field has a visible label programmatically associated with it. Errors are described in text, not by colour alone, and are announced to screen readers.
  • Images and icons. Decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology; functional ones carry a text alternative.
  • Motion. Animations are disabled when your system asks for reduced motion.
  • Zoom. Content remains usable at up to 400% zoom and with increased text and line spacing.
  • No third-party dependencies. Fonts and scripts are served from our own server, which keeps behaviour predictable on slow connections.

Known limitations

We are not aware of any part of the website that falls short of Level AA. Testing was carried out by us — automated and manual, including keyboard-only testing. No independent third-party audit has been performed.

If you run into a barrier, we most likely missed it. Tell us and we will fix it.

Reporting a problem

Write to [email protected] and tell us:

  • the page where the problem occurs;
  • what you were trying to do;
  • your browser, device and assistive technology, if you use one.

We reply within 48 hours on business days. If the problem prevents you from getting information or contacting us, we will provide it another way while we work on a fix.

If you are not satisfied with our response

You may raise the matter with the Bulgarian Commission for Protection against Discrimination or, for questions about personal data, with the Commission for Personal Data Protection. Their contact details are on the Legal Notice page.
